Rory McIlroy made his own grand entrance at Wimbledon when he arrived at the All England Club wearing his Masters green jacket.
The Northern Irishman and his wife Erica Stoll were guests at the Royal Box on Wednesday and wore the iconic jacket he held two months ago when he became the fourth man to win consecutive Masters titles.
In a week already dominated by high fashion, McIlroy was not to be outdone by his visit to SW19, with Noami Osaka’s sensational kimono outfit and Taylor Fritz wearing a Hugo Boss suit.
McIlroy is a big tennis fan and regularly attends the US Open and is good friends with two-time Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz; The two regularly support each other in tournaments.
Alcaraz celebrated his victory in the first round of last year’s US Open with a golf swing celebration in honor of McIlroy.
On a day when the world’s best golfers flocked to the Royal Box, McIlroy attracted great attention.
