Students evacuated from Iran to be brought back in deluxe buses: J&K CM

Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Omar Abdullah announced on Thursday, June 19, 2025 that students released from Iran will be ferred from Delhi to Deluxe buses to the Union Region.
90 students from Jammu and Kashmir were among the 110 people who were released from Iran, which was influenced by the war on Wednesday. They were taken to Armenia before flying to Doha. The students arrived in Delhi from the Qatar capital early on Thursday.
In a mission in X, the Prime Ministry said that Jammu & Kashmir Road Transport Corporation has been directed to organize luxury buses to carry students of the resident commissioner.
“Prime Minister, the Prime Minister, the students of the students released from Iran to Delhi J & K to move the demand for the quality of buses.” He said.
“The Commissioner of the Resident was assigned to coordinate with JKRTC to ensure the arrangement of appropriate luxury buses.” He said.
Mr. Abdullah shared the task in the official X arm.
