A massive fire engulfed a building in Frome; Huge flames and thick clouds of black smoke rose into the sky. Several fire engines are responding to the fire next to the M&S store on Kingsway.

Dramatic footage from the scene showed bright flames engulfing the building as local residents looked on. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service urged people to keep their doors and windows closed. The fire marshal posted on social media: “We currently have eight pumpers fighting a derelict building fire in Kingsway, Frome. Please keep your doors and windows closed if you live in the area due to the smoke.”
