Ex-CIA Director John Brennan seeks court order requiring records from investigations be preserved
WASHINGTON (AP) — Former CIA Director John Brennan He sued the Trump administration on Wednesday, seeking a court order requiring it to preserve records of investigations that he said authorities targeted him for “imagined criminal conduct.”

Defendants in the lawsuit include Trump and other top law enforcement officials in his administration. Deputy Attorney General Todd BlancheFBI Director Kash Patel and prosecutors in Florida who are overseeing investigations into Brennan and other perceived former enemies of Trump.
The lawsuit states that Brennan faces separate investigations based in Florida. Someone who investigates whether anyone made false statements to Congress. It concerns an assessment by intelligence agencies that documented Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election in which Trump defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton.
