Kangana Ranaut Grills Ram Kapoor Over Attitude

The upcoming Judgment Day episode of ‘Lock Upp Season 2’ will bring high drama with former host Kangana Ranaut returning to the show as ‘Janta Ki Awaaz’. In the latest promo, Kangana is seen questioning contestant Ram Kapoor about his performance and attitude in the house.

In the promo released after Episode 5, Kangana reviews the contestants’ journey ahead of the first elimination of the season. During his interaction with the inmates, he turns his attention to Ram Kapoor and questions whether he is taking the competition seriously. Kangana says to Ram, “Ram, game ko seriously nahi lena tha, aur agar lagta hai ki you are too big for this prison toh aap aaye ho kyun? Apni ye fuhadpan dikhane ke liye?” Ram replies: “Jab waqt aayega (When the time is right), I too will have my own truth and be better than everyone else here.” Before he can continue, Kangana stops him and says, “If you want to improve, don’t defend yourself.”

This isn’t the first time Ram’s game has made its way into the browser. Earlier, hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh had also asked him to rethink his approach. However, Ram maintained that he would not change his attitude in the house. In the upcoming episode, Kangana will also review the contestants’ performance in the first week before announcing the first eviction of the season. The episode will air on July 4. Meanwhile, Ssunita Ahuja, Harshad Chopda and Akanksha Chaudhary escaped elimination. Shreya Kalra, Sufi Motiwala, Shrestha lyer, Akanksha Chamola and Madhuri Grover continue to remain in the danger zone.

Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, ‘Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa’ features 15 contestants from television, social media and entertainment industry. The reality show airs on Netflix every Saturday through Wednesday at 8pm.
