Actor Ansiba Hassan has approached the Ernakulam First Class Magistrate Court seeking directions to register a First Information Report (FIR) on her complaint against fellow actor Lakshmipriya and two online media representatives, accusing them of publishing videos on various social media platforms with the aim of tarnishing her image and humiliating her in public.

He had lodged a complaint against Ms. Lakshmipriya and two others before the Station House Officer of Palarivattom police station. Ms. Hassan had appealed to the court, claiming that the police had not taken effective action on her complaint. The court asked the police to make a statement on July 9, 2026.

In her petition before the court, she claimed that the videos contained false and sexually explicit allegations and were intended to violate her modesty and subject her to harassment and public humiliation. No effective measures had been taken, leading to the continued dissemination of the content in question and affecting the applicant’s honor and reputation.

Kadavanthra police had registered a case against actor Tiny Tom on July 1, 2026, for allegedly making defamatory and social statements against Ms. Hassan. He was booked a day after the Ernakulam District and Sessions Court directed registration of an FIR on Ms. Hassan’s complaint.
