Taylor Swift’s A-list wedding squad revealed: Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Sabrina Carpenter attend celebration

Taylor Swift has long had a girl roster of epic proportions, even though she’s gone through major changes over the years.

As her wedding celebration to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden drew nearer by the minute, the singer was surrounded by her hand-picked crew, including many famous stars she’s been close to for over a decade.

Earlier on Friday, it was rumored that Swift’s closest girlfriends were by her side during the wedding celebration, and some names definitely stood out.

An insider claimed that Swift chose Cara Delevingne, Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid as her bridesmaids.

However, Swift’s rep later clarified that the bride did not want a bridesmaid and instead chose her brother Austin Swift as her ‘man of honour’.

The pop superstar kept every detail of the celebration secret, from her dress to the guest list.

According to sources, 33-year-old Model Delevingne, whose friendship with the singer goes back more than ten years, received an invitation. The two met in November 2013, when Swift was performing as the musical guest at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

In fact, Delevingne was a member of the original Bad Blood cast during 1989, proving that some members of the cast are still going strong.

The actress, who has openly struggled with addiction over the years, has remained one of Swift’s closest confidants since the fashion show meeting.

Fans have seen the British star, who starred in the movie Paper Towns, attend her concerts (most recently at her Wembley Stadium shows), celebrate birthdays alongside her, and cheer on Kelce at Kansas City Chiefs games.

Swift’s longtime best friend Selena Gomez, 33, got in on all the festivities as the Cruel Summer singer was part of Gomez’s wedding party. Swift even gave a moving speech that made Gomez cry.

The dynamic duo first met in 2008 while they were dating members of the Jonas Brothers (Gomez was linked to Nick while Swift was seeing Joe) and have been inseparable ever since.

Over the years, Gomez has publicly defended Swift and described the singer as one of her closest friends. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress even confirmed that Swift wrote the sweet song Dorothea about their friendship.

Gigi Hadid, 31, who became close to Swift after she joined the infamous Bad Blood crew, was also there to see Swift get married.

The supermodel vacationed with Swift, attended her famous Fourth of July parties, and publicly supported Kelce, saying she was “so excited” about their relationship.

Swift’s mentee Sabrina Carpenter, 27, who is nearly a decade younger than Swift, 36, also attended the nuptials.

Carpenter is considered ‘Tay’s girl’ by fans, as the pop star has publicly mentored her and appears to be following in her footsteps. Their relationship was secured when the Disney alumnus joined the record-breaking Eras Tour as the opening act.

Swift has repeatedly praised the Girl Meets World actress, and they even collaborated on the title track of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.

As Swift’s big day approached, fans were speculating that the pop star’s high school best friend, Abigail Anderson, would be the maid of honor. Swift was rumored to be the maid of honor at Anderson’s Nashville wedding.

Other names featured in the conversation among Swifties included Lena Dunham, the Haim brothers and celebrity stylist Ashley Avignone.

It was an old friend, Blake Lively, who once appeared as a bridesmaid but ended up pushing for the invitation.
