Federal judge tosses Trump DOJ lawsuit against sanctuary policies in Chicago

The Trump administration suffered a coup on Friday, when a federal judge in Chicago rejected the legislation of a federal judge in Chicago, with democratic controlled judicial regions and sacred policies.
Judge Lindsay Jenkins from the northern region of Illinois, who was appointed as a president Biden, gave the defendants’ dismissal movement and decided that the city’s regulations were not subject to federal implementation powers.
The Trump Ministry of Justice accused the City of Illinois and the City of Chicago in February of an illegal intervention on illegal migration because it aims to deport the mass deportation of President Donald Trump.
Trump Doj suits New York City for long -term shelter immigration policies
Holy cities or shelter policies limit the cooperation between local authorities and law enforcement officers and federal immigration authorities. The Trump administration has long been afraid of measures by arguing that they have made such areas a paradise for criminal illegal immigrants and contribute to increasing crimes.
The Ministry of Justice claims that these laws violate the “superiority article” of the US Constitution, which states that the federal law prevents the state and local laws that may contradict it.
However, Jenkins rejected the claim by deciding that states maintained important forces that were not explicitly given to the federal government.
The judge said, “To determine that the same policy provisions constitute discrimination or unacceptable regulation will provide an end to the tenth change.” “He will allow the federal government to command the states under the guise of immunity between government – direct regulation of the states blocked by the tenth change.”
Mayor Johnson warns Trump against using federal troops for immigration pressure in Chicago
In 2012, the Chicago City Council adopted a regulation that prevented city agencies and employees from participating in civil immigration sanctions or helping federal authorities with such efforts. In 2017, the Illinois Legislative Assembly adopted a similar state law known as the Law of Trust.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said he was satisfied with the decision and that the city was safer when the police focused on the needs of the Chicago.
“This decision confirms what we have known for a long time: Chicago’s pleasant city regulation supports legal and public security. The city cannot be forced to cooperate with the reckless and inhuman immigration agenda of the Trump administration.” He said.

This week, the Trump administration filed a lawsuit against various judicial powers on its sacred policies, including filing against New York. The management also filed a lawsuit against Los Angeles as well as several New Jersey.
Attorney General Pam Bondi said the Federal government had no choice but to protect the New York people by opening the case.
“If the leaders of New York do not step to protect their citizens, we will do it,” he wrote.
