Prince Harry slammed for ‘threatening to go t*ts up’ amid Palace fears | Royal | News

The Royal Family is allegedly “preparing” for a drama-filled week, while Prince Harry’s return to the UK next week is “threatening to get worse”. The Duke of Sussex will return home next week to celebrate one year until the Invictus Games in Birmingham. Harry’s return will clash with his various royal engagements, as well as the highly anticipated verdict in the High Court case against the Daily Mail publisher.

The Duke’s trip is still shrouded in uncertainty over whether he will bring his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after failing to make a decision on reassessing the risk. But the Sussex camp appear to have not confirmed any plans for Harry’s children regarding whether he will meet the King or give another interview after the Supreme Court ruling, which is said to have caused a fresh headache within the Palace walls.

Sun He said he would make a “last minute” decision about whether it was safe to bring Harry’s family to England.

But Times He claimed palace insiders were preparing for an “underwhelming” trip full of drama.

A source told the newspaper: “If that’s what he really wants, it seems like a funny way to compromise.”

Another source added that although the King was a “kind and caring man”, his patience was not limitless.

A source said: “Of course we hope everything will go wonderfully smoothly.”

Meanwhile, writer and former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown said of the upcoming trip to Sussex: “As always, things threaten to get worse.”

When the duke lost his Court of Appeal appeal against the Home Office last year, he expressed his hope for a reconciliation with his family in an interview with the BBC and said he would not speak to Charles due to his security case.

Harry added: “I’m going to bring my wife and kids back to the UK at this point and there’s going to be things they’re going to miss, you know, everything.”
