Police issue appeal after van ‘deliberately driven at pedestrians’ in Birmingham | UK | News

Police are requesting information following allegations that a vehicle was deliberately driven into pedestrians in a major city in England. The incident took place in Birmingham on May 23, West Midlands Police said in a statement today.
In a statement, police said a minibus was deliberately driven into pedestrians at the junction of Kingstand Road and Dyas Road at around 8am.
A police spokesman said: “Following the incident, the van was driven away from the scene and thankfully no one was seriously injured. It is understood the people involved were known to each other and this was not a random attack.”

“We have carried out investigations in the area since the incident and would like to speak to anyone who thinks they know more about what happened and the events leading up to it.”
