Prince Harry savaged for ‘toxic’ behaviour – ‘playing a game’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been criticized for their actions over the past few weeks, with Meghan set to briefly join the Duke of Sussex during his trip to the UK. Harry arrived in England earlier this week to meet his father, King King III, following his defeat at court. She is preparing to reunite with Charles. The initial plan was for four family members (Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet) to visit the UK, but plans were changed due to safety concerns.

There was some back and forth afterward, and Harry’s invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace was eventually rescinded after he failed to respond in time. It has now been confirmed that Meghan will briefly join her husband in the UK, but she will not be making any public appearances. It was initially reported that he would be joined at an Invictus Games event, but Prince will now fly solo at that event.

On the podcast Where Pop Culture Meets PR, hosts PR veterans Jacki Vause and Lyle Fulton discussed the recent royal drama, focusing specifically on how the famous couple has been behaving.

Vause told the Sussexes: “I think they’re playing a game right now. I think they’ve come to the conclusion that they’re cursed if they come, they’re cursed if they don’t; they can play games with anyone, say they’re coming one minute, they’re not coming the next minute, and hang the others to beat to the beat of their drum.”

He added: “If they want to act that way, that’s their right. But this is crazy.”

“Just tell the truth, which is something ‘Harkles’ wouldn’t even consider doing.”

Harry arrived in Britain alone on Monday after learning he would not be given armed police protection, meaning his family did not feel it was safe enough for him to be in the country.
