The “truth” has been revealed in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest court defeat, a journalist has claimed. Earlier this week, Prince Harry lost a lawsuit he filed with six other plaintiffs against Associated Newspapers Ltd, publisher of The Daily Mail.
The prince, who claimed that the publisher wrote articles about him by illegally collecting information, lost all his claims. This led one journalist to say he felt “vindicated” by the court decision. He also claimed that Harry and Meghan want publicity as long as it reflects them in a positive light.
Camilla Tominey wrote in The Telegraph: “Having been on the receiving end of Harry and Meghan’s ‘truth,’ I confess to feeling quite vindicated following Mr Justice Nicklin’s ruling in the Prince’s case against Associated Newspapers Ltd. The truth is – not the Sussexes’ version, but the whole truth – that they have always been perfectly comfortable with publicity provided it is flattering. Write a negative, or even true, headline and suddenly it becomes a media witch hunt.”
