Earthquake of magnitude 3.6 hits J&K’s Baramulla

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that a mild earthquake of magnitude 3.6 occurred in J&K’s Baramulla district in the early hours of Monday, July 13, 2026.
According to the information shared by NCS on X, the earthquake occurred at 2 am at a depth of 10 kilometers.
No damage or loss of life was reported at the time of this report.
In February, an earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale occurred in the district. Pattan district was the epicenter at that time.
