BSNL unaudited operational revenue up by 10% to ₹4,418 crore in Q1: Scindia

New Delhi, July 13 (PTI) State-run BSNL has announced an interim increase of around 10 per cent in revenue from its operations in the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, Union Telecommunications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Monday.

Speaking to the media after BSNL’s review meeting for the first quarter of the current financial year, Scindia said that BSNL’s corporate business segment and consumer mobility have shown growth, while the consumer fixed access segment has remained almost stable.

“When it comes to our total income from direct business activities, we recorded an increase of nearly 10 percent in our income compared to last year. We closed the 1st quarter of last year on: 4,017 crore. This year we closed the 1st quarter on: 4,418 crore. So there is a delta 401 crore, an increase,” said Scindia.

He said that BSNL’s ARPU (average revenue per user) has temporarily increased since February: 100 to 102.7.
