Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan Markle, 44, made their first joint trip since 2022 to England with their two children. The visit means the 77-year-old King has come face to face with his grandchildren Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, for the first time in more than four years.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday evening that King Charles and Queen Camilla, 78, had welcomed the family to Highgrove House earlier that day.

While Prince Harry and his family were at Highgrove, his brother, the Prince of Wales, was attending a charity polo match in Windsor.

Relations between the two brothers remain tense, with sources suggesting William does not want to meet Harry and Meghan during their stay in England.

The Sussexes visited Charles and Camilla with Archie and Lilibet at Highgrove, but no photos have been made public. The royals reportedly emphasized that the meeting was just a grandfather spending time with his grandchildren, according to the Express.

TalkTV presenter Jeremy Kyle discussed the family reunion, with guest Andrew Lownie making a surprising revelation.

The host asked: “What do you think William would think of Andrew’s visit?”

In one word, the royal writer claimed the future king was “appalled” by the family visit. “I think he thinks his father is weak,” Andrew said.

“The only way to deal with Meghan, especially, is to be tough,” he added.

“William wants to stay out of this,” he continued.

Andrew suggested the Prince of Wales could be “quite stubborn”.

“I think she feels quite betrayed, especially about the way Harry talked about Catherine,” the royal author told the host. he said. “So I don’t see any convergence there.”

Buckingham Palace described the meeting, held at the King’s private residence in Gloucestershire, as a “private family event”.
