The chilling 911 call by psychotherapist Brooke Hanlon, the husband of the slain New Jersey mother, was shared repeatedly and debunked by online sleuths searching for clues.
The distressed and disturbing audio of the call reveals graphic details of how Conor Hanlon found his bloody wife.
Brooke Hanlon, 35, was found fatally stabbed in her home in Chester, New Jersey, on June 6. No one was charged in her death, and Hanlon was not accused of any crime or wrongdoing.
Fox News Digital attempted to reach Conor Hanlon, but calls were not immediately returned.

Forensic linguist and Hofstra University professor Dr. “You wouldn’t know it from the 911 call,” Robert Leonard told Fox News Digital.

Dr. Leonard’s sudden collapse came amid speculation on social media.
Internet sleuths examine Hanlon’s frantic tone and word choice; as in referring to one of Brooke’s injuries as a “tear” during the nearly seven-minute interview.

He noted numerous murder investigations in which innocent people were publicly vilified for making noise while calling 911.
One of the cases he mentions is Sergio Celis, the father of Isabel Celis. She reported her six-year-old daughter missing from their home in Tucson, Arizona, in 2012.
Investigators discovered his remains five years later; Dr. Leonard says that in the lead-up to this discovery, Mr. Celis was branded a murderer.
“For six years all the so-called amateur experts said he did it,” Leonard said.
Ultimately, Christopher Clements, a convicted sex offender, was also found guilty of the murder and kidnapping of young Isabel.
In another notorious case, then-teenager Marty Tankleff of Long Island, New York, was wrongfully convicted and served 17 years in prison.
Prosecutors focused on his allegedly calm demeanor following the murders of his parents; this conviction was eventually overturned.
“Everyone is so different,” Leonard said. “There are no reliable markers.”

He continues: “We should not rush to judgment.”
As for the meeting itself, he said, “A murder investigation cannot be conducted with just one piece of data.”

The investigation into the murder of Brooke Hanlon continues, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is conducting the investigation.
A $1,000 reward will still be offered to anyone with information about the case.
