No names can be deleted from draft rolls without due process: EC

On Sunday, the Election Commission claimed that no name could be deleted from Bihar’s draft election role without following the necessary process, including an ELO from the Election Registration Officer (ERO).

EC underlined the process in the exercise due to the allegations that the documents would lose votes due to the special intensive revision of the voter’s voters in Bihar due to the allegations that the documents will lose votes.

The survey panel said it would not be deleted from draft election rolls without “speech order”.
Speech order is an self -explaining order that details the reasons for reaching a particular conclusion.

According to the secret directives, no name can be deleted from the speech order of the election registration officer/Election Registration Officer (ERO/AERO) without notification from the draft list published on August 1st.


Any victim of any decision of ERO may apply to the Regional Magistrate and Chief Election Officer. The last voter list will be published in the state on September 30th.

Parliamentary surveys will be held in Bihar this year.
