Inquiry Ordered Against 22 Doctors And Nurses

Irregularities occurred in 2020, according to a report from the Anti -Corruption Office from the State Anti -Corruption Bureau and made a surprise examination of various facilities in the hospital. The inspection has exposed to governance failures, corruption and supervision during the term of office of the previous government.

The report sent last month, ACB’s report, unauthorized activities in the hospital canteen, patient food records, low quality food supply, violations in civilian employment contracts and not suitable participation and audit systems for personnel.

Based on this, the Minister immediately called for an investigation for the execution of 9 doctors and 12 nurses.

ACB proposed great penalties for the old DCHs and showed full failure in administrative responsibilities.

The report accused nine other doctors of neglecting and preventing them. The number of patients lying, dietary graphics, drug use, and the responsibilities of nurses did not ignore the responsibilities of the nurses.

In addition, it was found that a hospital driver offered false records of fuel expenses with 74,000 CO Caar. A contract sanitation worker in unauthorized dressing tasks has been given a disciplinary penalty against the sanitation worker.

In the light of the findings of ACB, the minister emphasized the need for strict implementation to provide transparency and accountability in the government health institutions in Andhra Pradesh.
