Social media reacts to Jennifer Hudson and Patti Labelle’s performances at MLB All-Star Game

Steve Doocy experiences the MLB All-Star Fan Zone
‘Fox & Friends’ co-host Steve Doocy reports live from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and offers behind-the-scenes looks at the MLB All-Star Fan Zone. Doocy captures the excitement of tonight’s game by interviewing baseball fans. It also features local flavors, fan fests, and a unique Liberty Bell-inspired beer tap that showcases America’s fun.
Jennifer Hudson’s manager may need a raise because they’ve booked her with a week-long singing gig, and it started with a stirring rendition of “God Bless America” at the MLB All-Star Game in Philadelphia.
The singer and talk show host is from Chicago, but still the manager put in some effort and booked her for this gig in Philly.
And man, did he ever bring the house down.
WHAT TO CONSIDER DURING THE 2026 MLB ALL-STAR GAME AT CITIZENS BANK PARK IN PHILADELPHIA?
“God Bless America” isn’t new to the MLB All-Star Games, but it’s especially great to hear it sung in Philadelphia a little more than a week before the nation’s 250th birthday.
Also, in the parking lot just across from Citizens Bank Park at Xfinity Mobile Arena, the Philadelphia Flyers like to dust off that tune for big games.

But man, Hudson really leaned into this and gave it everything she had, and social media definitely noticed.
THIS ‘BEAUTIFUL AMERICA’ POST BEFORE THE FRANCE-PARAGUAY MATCH WILL MAKE YOUR THOUGHTS CONSIDERATE.
This is a great tune-up for when Hudson is part of the FIFA World Cup Final ceremony.
Of course, someone had to take on the “Star-Spangled Banner” duties, and this year that honor was fittingly given to a Philadelphia native.
Patti LaBelle is the Godmother of Soul.
How’s that for a one-two punch of patriotism ahead of the Midsummer Classic?!

Add in the giant copy of the Declaration of Independence that all starters must sign, and I don’t think you can do better for America’s 250th anniversary.

From now on, I can’t think of anything better for fans than to sit back and watch some baseball.
Maybe we’ll get a beer from the Liberty Bell, too.
