Germany: At Least 3 Dead, Several Injured In Train Derailment Near Riedlingen | World News

At least three people were killed and others were injured after a passenger train in the southwestern region of Germany (local time) on Sunday, referring to local authorities, on Sunday.
According to DW News, the incident occurred near the town of Riedingen in Baden-Wurtemberg, and about 100 passengers were reported at that time.
Firefighters, rescue teams and emergency services, including the police responded quickly to the scene. DW News, Baden-Wurttemberg’s State Interior Minister Thomas Strobl (CDU), referred to a spokesman on the way to the accident area.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz expressed his shock on the incident and said he was in close contact with the relevant authorities to accelerate rescue operations.
He also wished condolences to the relatives of the victims who died in the incident.
Merz, X in a mission, “the train accident in the region of the region shocks. I am in close contact with the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Transportation and I wanted them to support the rescue forces with all the available vehicles. We mourn the victims. I wish condolences to relatives.”
According to DW reports, the train was passing through a solid, forest area between Sigmaringen and ULM. The authorities have not yet determined the reason for leaving the rail.
