Christian woman has dramatic thrashing episode as she meets celebrity female pastor at book signing

One woman fell to the ground while others screamed, shook and collapsed during a celebrity pastor’s book signing at Barnes & Noble.

Scenes emerged of Kathryn Krick, a self-described ‘apostle’ and lead pastor of the Five-Storey Church in Los Angeles, addressing more than 200 people at a Houston bookstore.

Krick, 35, practices what he calls spiritual ‘salvation,’ which his ministry defines as freeing people from demonic forces.

He described the intense physical reactions of the participants as encounters with the power of God and evidence of a religious ‘revival’.

Within seconds, the woman’s torso began to shake and her head was thrown back as two people approached to support her.

Finally, her knees buckled and she leaned backwards over the folding chair as a man cradled her head before being lowered to the floor of the bookstore.

The video then cuts to other participants crying, screaming, doubling over and collapsing in their chairs when Krick touches or points at them.

After one of the participants approached Krick’s table, he began to shake before the tremors spread throughout his body.

During one interaction, Krick is heard commanding something to ‘leave its body’, apparently performing what his ministry describes as spiritual ‘liberation’.

Text superimposed over the image states: ‘God’s power is not limited to the four walls of a church.’

Krick said the backlash occurred during his message and continued as participants approached him to have their books signed.

‘This bookstore is booming!’ she wrote in her Instagram caption.

He claimed people started ‘falling off their seats’ as he spoke.

‘Everyone who came to get their books signed was touched, and I was in awe of the tangible love of God that filled the store,’ he wrote.

‘Many were released, some received education, and others were powerfully touched by God’s love. Hallelujah!’

Five-Storey Church He describes his mission as bringing about the revival of Christians around the world and reviving practices that he believes have been lost since the early church.

Edited footage showed other attendees crying, screaming and collapsing in their chairs when Krick touched or pointed at them.

According to its website, the church teaches that God’s power can ‘save the oppressed and heal the sick.’

The ministry also says its followers are called to ‘heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead’ by acting as instruments of what it describes as God’s anointing.

The church says this ‘celebration’ can be passed on to others through a practice known as ‘giving’.

He offered no evidence to support the alleged healings or demonic deliverances.
