Cornerback Levi Wallace retired from the NFL at the age of 31.
Wallace was with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season, but spent the year on injured reserve and did not start a game. His last game action came against the Denver Broncos in 2024.
He announced his retirement with the following statement on his Instagram account: post, “Walk. Undrafted. 8 years. Retired.”

Wallace wasn’t drafted out of Alabama, but being the underdog was familiar to him. He played for Nick Saban at Alabama and joined the team as a backup in 2014.
He played on the scout team for the first two years of his college career and eventually took the field and earned a scholarship for the 2016 season. He became a key starter on the Crimson Tide defense during the National Championship-winning season in 2017.

In 2017, he recorded 48 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions and led the SEC with 15 pass breakups. He returned one of his interceptions for a touchdown.
Coming out of Alabama, Wallace went undrafted and signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent. He eventually earned a spot in the starting lineup, starting seven games in his rookie year.
Once at second base, Wallace didn’t let go as he started every game for the Bills during his four-year tenure with the Bills. With the Bills, Wallace recorded 219 tackles and six interceptions.

Following his stint with the Bills, Wallace signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers and started 18 of 31 games over two seasons. Even though he didn’t start out that well, he still remained a ballhawk, racking up six steals in his two years for Pittsburgh.
In his final season in Denver, Wallace started two of 13 games and recorded 28 tackles.
Wallace recorded 333 tackles, 56 pass deflections and 12 interceptions in 96 career games.
