Neighbours and Home and Away actor dies aged 90 in Melbourne
Terence Donovan, British-Australian actor known for his roles in TV series neighbors And Home and AwayHe died at the age of 90.
Actor and singer son Jason Donovan shared the news that his father passed away in Melbourne on Saturday night in an update on Instagram.
“It is with great sadness but also a sense of celebration of a long, full life that I and my brother Paul announce that our father Terence died peacefully in Melbourne last night,” he said in the update.
“Obviously this is an extremely emotional time and we ask you: [to] Respect our privacy.”
In the message, Jason paid tribute to the “wonderful staff” who cared for his father at Melbourne’s Cabrini Hospital in his final days.
“Our father was a huge character, larger than life. He was our best friend… our world!” The message continued.
“We will miss him greatly, but we take comfort in knowing that we are all with him in his final days.”
