Devotee Donates Rs.1 Cr to TTD’s Sri Venkateswara Vidyadana Trust

Tirupati: Tirumala Kumar Kanakamedala, a Vijayawada devotee, donated Rs 1 million to TTD’s Sri Venkateswara Vidyadana Foundation on Monday. Sri Venkateswara Vidyadana Foundation offers scholarships to meritorious students with limited means.

“Kanakamedala… TTD donated 1 billion rupees to Sri Venkateswara Vidyadana Trust,” an official statement from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) said.

Kanakamedala handed over the donation demand drafts (DDs) to Lokanatham, deputy executive officer of the temple body at Ranganayakula Mandam inside the Sri Venkateswara temple. TTD is the official custodian of the world-famous Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati.
