Modelling scout linked to Epstein found dead in Paris suburbs

A model scout linked to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his home.
Nanterre prosecutor’s office confirmed to the BBC that 69-year-old Daniel Siad was found in Colombes, a northwestern suburb of Paris, on Monday.
“The investigation to determine the cause of death was launched on Monday evening following the discovery,” the office said, adding that an autopsy would be performed.
Siad’s name was mentioned thousands of times in the Epstein files published by the US government. He has previously denied any knowledge of the threat posed by Epstein.
Epstein victim Anya (not her real name) previously told the BBC Siad introduced her to Epstein.
Before the BBC investigation aired on July 18, Siad’s lawyer said he was unavailable for comment but had previously denied knowing Epstein posed a threat.
