Injured forward Brody Mihocek is still a long way from returning to the game after suffering a broken neck, but he continues to improve his movement and find a role in the Melbourne coaches’ bench.
Mihocek was spotted tonight with the Melbourne playing group at the MCG, warming up for their crucial clash against Geelong.
“I started running today and that was positive and I’ve been doing some exercise for the last few weeks,” Mihocek told Channel 7.
“There’s everything I can do to get active and the main thing is to be with the kids throughout the week and on match days. It makes me happy to be around everyone and get at least some exercise.”
