11 naturopathy bibliographies released at KU event

KU VC Pratap Reddy and others released the bibliographies at an event held on the campus in Hanumakonda on Friday.
K. Prathap Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, Kakatiya University, Warangal, said naturopathy remains quite relevant in the context of today’s lifestyles and emphasized the importance of adopting healthy living practices for longevity.
Speaking at the 8th anniversary celebrations of the International Naturopathy Library and Research Center at Kakatiya University Senate Hall on Friday, Mr. Reddy published 11 bibliography volumes on naturopathy compiled by former professor G. Rameshwaram, the founder of the research centre. He also added that Kakatiya University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the center to benefit research scholars.
Prof. Praising Rameshwaram’s contribution to the field, the Vice-Chancellor lauded his efforts in promoting naturopathy and creating valuable academic resources.
Prof. Rameshwaram said the bibliographies have been published in Telugu, English, Hindi and Marathi and will serve as useful reference material for naturopathy scholars worldwide. He noted that the International Naturopathy Library and Research Center houses approximately 8,000 rare manuscripts, books and journals on the subject.
Telangana University Vice-Chancellor T. Yadagiri Rao, Prof. He appreciated Rameshwaram’s continuous efforts to promote naturopathy to improve human health.
KU Retired Teachers Association President A. Sadanandam, Prof. Congratulating Rameshwaram, he said, “Knowledge develops not by preserving old ideas unaltered or by rejecting them outright, but by constantly examining them in the light of new evidence.”
Kakatiya University Registrar V. Ramchandram and others attended the programme.
