July full Moon: How and when to see the 2026 Buck Moon

According to current forecast models, there is a good chance of seeing the Buck Moon across much of the UK on the night of July 29, particularly in the central, southern and eastern regions where skies are expected to remain largely clear.

The weather in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland is expected to be a bit more mixed, with variable clouds, the odd shower and some clear skies.

The most clouds are expected to be seen, especially in the western regions of Scotland. Eastern and northern regions will have better luck if clear weather is seen between showers.
