Lucky punter turns £2 bet into £52,000 winnings after correctly backing SEVEN winners at Ascot and York races

A SkyBet punter had a great day at the races after turning a £1 each-way bet into a massive £52,252 win.

The anonymous racing fan made the biggest bet of his dreams on Saturday afternoon, depositing a total of just £2 into a complex seven-fold accumulator.

Against all odds, each horse crossed the finish line first at two of the country’s most iconic racecourses, Ascot and York.

The incredible run started at 13.45 with 11/2 graded Moonrise gaining victory. Fifteen minutes later Stratusnine won the afternoon 2 handicap at 10/3, giving the punter a strong early start.

Hope turned to belief as Kon Tiki (7/2) and Item (3/1) won back-to-back races and then Amazing Journey claimed victory with 4/1.

Dwindling Funds lived up to his name by taking the pot to a 5/1 victory despite a Rule 4 deduction following a late withdrawal from the race.

Then, at 15.35, Kalpana made an exciting finale. The 13/2 horse was the longest throw of the accumulator but the SkyBet punter did not let him down and won the race to earn a big payday.

A modest £1 each-way bet returned a massive jackpot of £52,252.12, leaving punters in disbelief.

Here’s exactly how to play the seven-legged accumulator:
