There is no running water at Gatwick Airport as passengers are unable to use the toilet or buy drinks.

SES Water said this morning that customers in Surrey, West Sussex and Kent were experiencing water shortages.

This is due to a water supply problem in the Bough Beech centre.

One passenger wrote to X: “Gatwick Airport has lost access to running water after days of disruption.

“We’re talking about Britain’s second busiest airport here… Our country is collapsing.”
