Caitlin Clark erupts for 32 points as Fever hold off Storm to complete season-series sweep
Dan Dakich on Indiana Fever coach’s response to GOP letter
Sports analyst Dan Dakich is criticizing Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White for her evasive response regarding the GOP’s letter to the WNBA. The letter addresses concerns about the treatment of Caitlin Clark, with reports suggesting some of the attacks were racially motivated. Dakich questions the coach’s failure to defend his star player and the league’s lack of support despite Congress’ involvement in the matter.
The Seattle Storm entered Tuesday night at home, taking a 4-10 record with the visiting Indiana Fever in their third matchup of the season at Climate Pledge Arena.
The Storm’s home woes continued on Tuesday night as the Fever won 103-95 on the road behind Caitlin Clark’s team-high 32 points. Natisha Hiedeman was the top scorer for Seattle with 33 points.
Clark’s backcourt mate Kelsey Mitchell also had a strong shooting night, scoring 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field.

Indiana took a 17-point lead after the first quarter, but Seattle recovered after halftime and cut the lead to four entering the fourth quarter.
But the Storm’s rally largely stalled in the final period and Indiana improved to 18-10 on the season.

Fever star center Aliyah Boston left the game early with an apparent knee injury following an awkward landing.
Boston opened a screen in the second quarter and rolled toward the basket before tripping over Flau’jae Johnson and falling to the floor.

Boston fell hard He was on the field and immediately grabbed his right knee when the referees called a foul on the play. He was helped off the ground and later refused after initially being listed as doubtful to return.

The Fever’s West Coast tour continues on Friday with a meeting against the Portland Fire.
