Man arrested after two stabbed to death at Bermondsey business

BBCOne man was arrested on suspicion of murder after two men were killed, and two more were injured in a stab in a job in London.
A 58 -year -old man died at the scene, and a 27 -year -old man died in the hospital after a stab at Long Lane in Bermondsey at 13:00 on Monday.
Metropolitan police said that a third man in his 30s was a life -threatening situation in the hospital.
The man who was arrested at the age of 31 is not considered to threaten life, but in the hospital. According to civil servants, the victims are believed to be known by each other.
PA MediaIt is understood that the stabbing is near Rolmpira Global and Housing Provider Trademark Homes.
Bermondsey and Old Southwark representing workers’ deputy Neil Coeyle described their stabbing as “really terrible” and it was a “targeted, isolated event”.
A resident who wants not to be named said: “Terrible. I’m always going through there – it makes you feel really uneasy.
“You don’t just expect something like this to be normal on weekdays.”
PA MediaDet Ch Supt Emma Bond said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims of this tragic event.
“Our investigation continues at speed and we are working hard to understand the full conditions.”
