International Road Federation flags safety non-adherence in road projects in India

In a statement, the International Federation of Road (IRF) expressed his concerns about the increasing death and serious road accidents in and around the road construction regions throughout India.
“In a large number of active construction sites, IRF-India department, lack of warning signs for deviations or lane closure, the absence of reflective bands, barricades or cones, is extremely dangerous, especially in serious accidents, especially at night,” he said.
He also said that there were no deployment of flags and Marshals in these regions and there were no inadequate speed calming measures.
