Sircilla Weaver Crafts Golden Shawl for PM Modi

Karimnagar: Sircla, famous for its rich Handloom traditions, once again made headlines thanks to the extraordinary workmanship of Nalla Vijay Kumar, a leading weaving and recipient of the ‘Chenetha Kala Ratna Award’. Rajanna was a shawl of 24 carats that could fit into a matchbox that exhibited craft mastery in the Sircla region.
Vijay Kumar said that the shawl was two meters long and 38 inches wide and a symbolic tribute titled Sindoor Operation. He honors the power of India’s armed forces and respects the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Vijay Kumar, who expressed grief against the latest attacks on women and mothers, praised the government’s reaction to terrorism. He plans to send his unique creation to Prime Minister Modi by marking the National Hand Total Day in August.
In particular, Vijay Kumar continues the legacy of his late father Nalla Paramdhamulu, who won a fame for a silk yellow that can fit into a matchbox. Among his father’s extraordinary achievements, he built an 112 -meter national flag for the Olympics and creating seamless clothes.
Following his father’s footprints, Vijay Kumar prepared a variety of innovative hand -woven products, including Sarees and others woven with silver and gold ropes, which can pass through the eye of a needle. Their contributions helped to bring national recognition to Sircla’s weaving heritage.
