Nintendo In the first month of its release, the company generated more than twice the financial revenue in the first quarter of the Switch 2 console.
In an update on the investor relations website on Friday, the company said that Nintendo’s Switch 2 is currently selling a total of 5.82 million units.
How Nintendo did in the quarter against LSEG forecasts on June 30 is explained below:
- Revenues: 572.3 billion Japanese Yen ($ 3.8 billion), an annual increase of 132% and expected over 474.84 billion Yen.
- Business profit: 56.9 Billion Yen is expected with 53.46 billion yen.
Nintendo shares gathered about 40% this year behind the excitement of the technology giant’s new Switch 2 Hybrid console.
The device, which was released on June 5, sold more than 3.5 million units in the first four days, and Nintendo expects to reach 15 million units in the financial year, which ended in March 2026.
