Apple CEO Tells Staff AI Is ‘Ours to Grab’ in Hourlong Pep Talk

(Bloomberg) -Apple Inc. Tim Cook, Chairman of the Executive Board, met with a rare hand following the results of earnings and gathered employees around the company’s artificial intelligence expectations and “amazing” product line.

On Friday, the manager gathered in Cupertino, Cupertino on Friday and said that the AI revolution was as “big or larger as the internet, smartphones, cloud computing and applications. “Apple should do it. Apple will do it. This is a kind to grab, C Jook said, according to people who are aware of the meeting. “We will invest to do this.”

It was late to iPhone manufacturer AI and Openai, Alphabet Inc.’s Google, Microsoft Corp. and others have left the market under water with products like chatgpt. And Apple finally fell straight when AI released their vehicles.

However, Cook hit an optimistic tone by stating that Apple is typically late to new technologies.

“We are rarely the first,” he said to the executive employees. “There was a PC before Mac; there was a smartphone before the iPhone; there were many tablets before the iPad;

However, Apple invented the “modern” versions of these product categories. “That’s what I feel about artificial intelligence.”

An Apple spokesman refused to comment on the meeting.

At an hour of meeting, he touched upon a series of issues, including the retirement of Business Chief Jeff Williams, to increase Apple TV viewers, and to progress in health services with features such as AirPods Pro Hearing Aid Technology. He also touched upon the donation and community service by Apple employees, the company’s goal of being neutral by 2030 and the impact of the regulations.

“The truth is that Big Teh is under a lot of examination worldwide,” Cook said. “We must continue to push the intention of the regulation and ensure that they present it instead of these things that destroy the user experience and user privacy and security.”

Cook frequently organize a town hall -style conversations when visiting Apple’s offices around the world, but meetings from the Steve Jobs Theater at the headquarters are unusual.

The statements watched a box office record -breaking earnings report and sales increased by about 10% in June quarter. This defeated the Wall Street expectations and alleviated the request for the iPhone and concerns about the slowdown in China.

Earlier this year, the company had planned to offer a Siri revision as part of Apple Intelligence, and planned to add the ability to touch user data to better meet demands. It was postponed by changing the management for the artificial intelligence of the company.

Federight explained that the problem is due to trying to publish a version of Siri’s two different systems: one of the current commands – such as adjusting timers – and the other is based on large language models, software behind the productive AI. “We wanted to make a hybrid architecture at the beginning, but we noticed that the approach would not lead us to apple quality,” Federight said.

Now Apple is working on a version of Siri, which has moved to a completely new architecture for all its abilities. Bloomberg News reported that repeating was planned in a period of spring, but Apple executives did not approve of a time schedule next year.

The engineering manager said, “Our work in this end of the renewal of the Siri gave us the results we needed,” he said. “This has made us a position not only to deliver what we have announced, but to offer a much larger upgrade than we predicted. There is no project that people do not take more seriously.”

Federight talked about leadership changes, including putting the headphone software leadership team responsible for Vision Pro Creator Mike Rockwell and Siri as a driving force in improveing the product. He said that Rockwell and his group “superfarred the company’s work in the region.

In his speech, Cook pushed employees to move faster to knit artificial intelligence.

“We all use AI in a significant way and we should use it as a company, C Cook said. “It will be left behind not to do this, and we can’t do it.”

Employees should force AI vehicles to distribute faster and encourage their managers, service and support teams to do the same thing.

Cook also discussed the company’s retail strategy and emphasized that the current plan is to open new stores in developing markets and to increase investment in Apple’s online store. This year, the iPhone manufacturer is opening sales points in India, United Arab Emirates and China and is preparing to add its first place in Saudi Arabia next year.

Cook said, ız We must be in more countries and you will see that we are entering more developing markets, Cook said Cook. This does not mean that Apple will ignore other places, but the ortayan amount of disproportionate growth ”will be in new areas.

The CEO also shared his enthusiasm about the upcoming products, although he could not get special. “I’ve never felt so much excitement and a lot of energy before,” he said.
