British families waiting for the remains of relatives on the Air India 171 plane of London, which collapsed shortly after the departure from Ahmedabad Airport, are waiting for approval in DNA matches after high-level Indian-UK government talks.
Keystone Law, who worked with aviation experts to help most of the families who lost their loved ones in the June 12 accident, called for urgency this week.
Downing Street during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to England last week confirmed that Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed Air India Aircraft accident during bilateral talks against some remnants sent back to England.
Keystone Law Aviation Partner James Healy-Pratt said, “The governments of England and India have made high-level talks as a result of the international media scope of this problem,” he said.

“It is believed that some matching DNA remains can now be found in India. Approval is expected,” he said.
241 passengers and crews who died in the disaster included 52 British citizens, and two of the 12 coffins were sent back to England for the last rituals when they were found to be misconduct.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) responded to the UK reports to emphasize that “all fatal remains are handled according to the maximum professionalism and the dignity of the dead”.
Mea’s official spokesman said last month, “We continue to work with the UK officials to resolve concern about this issue.” He said.
Keystone Law, who was asked to predict the scale of the subject, said that two of the 12 coffins sent back from India to England were “incorrectly labeled, incorrectly identified and misconduced”.
“Extrapoled-15-hundred error rate, 40 set residues may be incorrectly tagged, incorrectly defined and incorrectly defined.
Last month, an investigation into the deaths of some British passengers was opened and postponed in London with the identity process controlled by the senior coronary under the British procedures.
It came as a preliminary report by the Indian Aircraft Investigation Bureau (AAIB), and it was seen that the fuel to both engines was cut shortly after starting.
The engines tried to start again, but it was too late to prevent the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft from hit Ahmedabad’s BJ Medical College and claimed that 19 life was in the place.
The Keystone law called for more clarity about the passage of fuel cutting switches and what sound was in the quotes of the cockpit audio recorder. Healy-Pratt, “Indian AAIB has this evidence and does not share this detail with AI 171 families for unexplained reasons. Indian AAIB, the evidence of the families can not complain of more speculation when it is not transparently released,” he said.
The aviation lawyer also called for further details about compensation reports that were taken into consideration for families affected by the Tata Group, the owners of Air India.
Healy-Pratt said: “TATA has a speech to set up a 500 Crore fund for all AI 171 families (RS)-This will leave an ex-gratia support (legally a gift and compensation against Air India, or indeed any court against Boeing.
“Families deserve to take the details of this support urgently, as legal proceedings take time in India, England and the United States.”
The UK’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) said that the preliminary report, which had “expert status” in the Indian security investigation and published a month from the accident on July 12, reviewed the findings.
The UK -based families who lost their loved ones in the accident called for an expert representation mechanism for a plane crash during the research process under the leadership of India.
