Uber Eats adds AI to spice up menus, food photos and reviews: All about the new features
Uber EATS, a food distribution service, offers a range of new features aimed at helping businesses advertise and communicate with customers.
These new features include AI additions to menu descriptions, food photos and reviews, live chat tools and payments for photos sent by the user.
Ai-Developed menus and visuals
The General AI will transform how foods look on the Uber EATS platform. Service will use AI to create explanations for menu items and summarize customer reviews to quickly emphasize feedback on the fields that need to be improved.
Beyond the text, AI will play an important role in developing food paintings. This includes the detection and development of low quality food images in the menus by making changes in lighting, resolution and framework. In some cases, AI can even arrange food to different plates or backgrounds.
The sample images provided by Uber EATS suggest that this feature can use productive AI to make adjustments to foods such as expanding portions targeting more visually attractive presentations or filling any space.
Using AI for smarter reviews
Uber EATS will also distribute a feature to add pictures to menu items without any photos. This allows customers to upload a photo of their own orders when leaving examination.
The feature will be globally available and can be accessed by touching the “Add photos” option on the price order screen.
To encourage user participation, customers in the USA, England, Canada and Mexico can even pay for Uber in -app loans if their photos are published.
Real -time live order chat
To facilitate more smooth operations and proactive problem solving, Uber EATS starts a new live order chat feature that allows businesses to communicate directly with customers to solve any problems related to orders before being sent for delivery.
Traders can use this tool to clarify special requests, to check the diet or allergy requirements, or to give information about non -stock items to discuss alternatives.
