More than 20 lakh Assam farmers get ₹422 crore under PM-KISAN scheme

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, in accordance with the pm-saman Nidhi plan, more than 20 Lakh farmers received more than 422 Crore within the scope of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi plan. The quantity was distributed as part of a country -wide program initiated by the senior Narendra Modi initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi.

Authorized, “under the 20th installment of the PM-Sister program, Assam’da more than 20.31 Lakh appropriate farmer family provided benefits.” According to Samman Nidhi (PM-Bidhi) plan, the appropriate agricultural families each receive 6,000 per year in three 2,000 equal installments.
“Approximately 20.31 Lakh farmers throughout our state received 422.05 crore for direct bank accounts within the scope of the PM-Blood Plan. This timely support is a proof of Honumble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji for an unchanging commitment for an eramatic minister.
PM-Sisan is one of the flagship plans of the central government and is the world’s largest direct benefit transfer (DBT) program. The Indian government launched this plan as a strategic initiative on 24 February 2019 to meet the financial needs of farmers and increase the general efficiency of the agricultural sector.
Commenting on the program, Assam Prime Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Over the years, this plan played an important role in strengthening our farmers and giving them a gyrog of recognizing a nation.
