Top Trump aide accuses India of financing Russia’s war in Ukraine

After increasing the pressure of the US leader New Delhi to stop receiving Russian oil, the Chief of India accused Donald Trump’s best assistant on Sunday, August 3, 2025 of Moscow, and accused the Russian war in Ukraine to effectively finance the war in Ukraine.
“(Trump) very clearly, India’s oil from Russia by buying oil from Russia is unacceptable that it is unacceptable to continue to finance this war.” He said.
Mr. Miller’s criticism was one of the most powerful of one of the US’s major partners in Indo-Pacific by the Trump administration.
“People will be shocked to learn that India is basically connected to China in the purchase of Russian oil. This is a surprising fact,” Mr. Miller said FOX News.
The Indian Embassy in Washington did not respond immediately to the request for comments.
Indian Government told sources Reuters On Saturday, the new Delhi will continue to buy oil from Moscow despite US threats.
A 25% tariff in Indian products entered into force on Friday as a result of purchasing military equipment and energy from Russia. Trump also threatened 100% tariffs for the imports of the US from countries that purchased Russian oil unless Moscow reached a great peace agreement with Ukraine.
Mr. Miller, Mr. Trump, described his relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he described as “tremendous”, stabbed his criticism.
