Lok Sabha was postponed during the day on Monday, August 4, 2025, due to the constant noisy protests of the opposition parties who demanded a discussion about the special intensive revision of the election rolls in Bihar.

Before the postponement, the chair reminded the opposition members that they had not even passed a single bill by the parliament because of the recurrent interruptions since the Monsoon session began.

When the house came together at 14:00, the opposition deputies, including those from the Congress, were raising slogans and holding banners.

The opposition demands a discussion about the secret exercise initiated by the election commission in Bihar before the state surveys this year.

Jagdambika Pal, who chaired the proceedings, said that on Monday, August 4, 2025, he was listed for the discussion of two basic sports bills and the invoices would not make justice with players unless discussed and passed.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Sports Minister Mansukh reiterated the views similar to Mandaviya.

Mr Pal also told the members that Om Birla, Congress MP R Sudha, directed the police to take action strongly with a significant reference to the gold chain closed to Delhi.

The ongoing religion, Finance State Minister Pancaj Chaudhary, made a legal decision on customs duties accepted by voice votes.

A Bay Pal reminded the opposition members that the monsoon session had not even passed a single bill by the Assembly due to repeated interruptions.

This said that the parliamentary declarations were the third week when the opposition members were broken with slogan.

In the early hours of the day, Mr. Birle said that every day he tried to run the house without any problems, but the protesting members systematically broke the operations of the house.

“You were chosen for people to represent their hopes and desires by Lakhs and bring their problems to the agenda. But you are not interested in allowing the house to work smoothly. You systematically blocking the transactions and showing the banners, you reduce the dignity of the house.”

Mr. Birla said that if the members have any problems, they should come to him for the discussion, but that the question clock should allow them to function smoothly and the government should answer them.

“I will give you enough time to raise your problems as I have done in the past, but please let the house run to run,” he said.

However, the opposition ignored the satisfaction of the speaker and forced him to postpone the house until 14:00

Parliament, which prevented discussions about the Sindoor operation in both houses, has worked very little since the monsoon session started on July 21 due to repeated postponement. This was initially due to the opposition’s demand for a discussion about the Sindoor operation and the Sir in Bihar.
