NWKRTC personnel, on August 5 in the Belegavi Region of Karnataka paralyzed public transportation vehicles.
Most of the buses from outside came to the bus stop. However, no bus, city bus or inter -regions or between the states, left the bus stop.
Numerous passengers, including women, children and the elderly, were stranded at a bus stop. Among those waiting were some students who went to various colleges.
Authorities, Belagavi and Chikkodi, most of the 1,450 roads were canceled, he said. Most 4,300 staff did not come to work. KSRTC personnel and some members of the workers’ union gathered in front of the central bus stop and in front of the satellite bus stop near the train station.
A team of police officers was assigned for the security task at the bus stop. They talked to vehicles complaining that they could not travel due to lack of buses.
