Captains push for women’s State of Origin

Molloy wants more Footy and more chance to bring up the distinguished players of the game, and for a long time the whole Australian side has asked to play together every year.

“I’m lucky to have a few-Avustralian blazer, and I think I would like to see this team playing, Mol said Mollooy, Moll said Mollooy.

“I don’t know where we played or who we were playing against, but I always thought it would be interesting to myself.

“We have seen very exciting formats in men’s game, we have seen origin in the past [in AFLW] And I would love him. I would definitely love it.

“I would like to see the talents and bring them all together – I would like to see in any format.”

Considering the influx of Irish talent, some captains expressed interest in an Australian v Irish series between Aflw and Gaelic football stars.

But whatever format, it should be a good product.

“We have to make sure that people want to watch and build something really want to watch and build, Sarah Crows captain Sarah Allan said.

Teams

If the origin of the origin would return, Molloy believed that a player should be decided according to the location of a player’s club, not where the teams were raised.

However, there is still a powerful state commitment to those who do not do an ally Jumper. Collingwood captain Ruby Schleicher already chose the average view of the WA side-among the Banoz Antonio and Emma Swanson elections-and Chelsea Randall was making a plan to request South Australia’s clutch.

“It would be great to bring together the old gang in WAFL, Sch said Schleicher.

“There is a state pride, there is no such thing as wearing your own colors. But anyway, I will raise my hand.”

Carlton’s captain Abbie Mckay said he’d jump for the chance to play for Victoria or Australia.

“It would be great, Mck McKay said.

“I played for a year for Vic Metro [at under-18 level] And it would be an honor to do this again. “

Considering that Brisbane Lions is a perennial contestant and Gold Coast produces a series of talented players, it can also build a powerful side.

Hawt Hawthorn captain Emily Bates, “Queensland has a lot of ability to be our own team-probably I can say that Queensland, South Australia and Victoria can give it a red hot crack,” he said.

Standard

In September 2017, AFLW played a origin of a debbie Lee in Victoria’s allies Marvel Stadium with 97 points. Daisy Pearce, Ellie Blackburn and Jasmine Garner were among the stars of the GICS.

Schleicher would not be repeated.

“Hey, hey, hey, you talk to a Wa girl here – of course no, Sch Schleicher shouted.

In 2017, Bates was part of the Allies team.

“We were definitely pumped, it wasn’t a great memory,” he remembered. “But I think it would be great for the game and show the best ability available, I’m eager to see it again.”

Richmond captain Katie Brennan was on the allies and said that talent was much better than 2017.

“The talent from all different states is now extraordinary, B Bates said.

“I was born and raised a Queenslander, and this path of talent went from power to power. It would be a more competitive balance there and it would be a great sight to see.”

Molloy was more pragmatic about format.

“I will get a more holistic view and make Victoria play Victoria because Victoria is like Footy Capital,” he said.

Timing

The ongoing expansion of the league was written in CBA-Mevcut 18 team competitions play only in the final finals.

Although it is a way to get more games on the Origin calendar, the same issues that disturb the discussions about the return of the competition for men’s game will be problematic for women.

Playing a series on the eve of the season can see that star players have been injured before club campaigns; Finally or off the season cuts breaks.

Playing representative football in the middle of the normal season – for example, making the game a showcase event in AFL Grand Final Day or Eve – will not be popular with clubs.

“The only problem [in 2017] It was injuries from the game, it would be a risk. But I think we should do that, B Bates said.

“Timing is hard. Girls are usually traveling out of the season, and what is not, I think you are still a perfect time.”

Molloy decided on a origin in the middle of the season.

“I don’t think it is appropriate to fix it during the season. We want to win Premiership, every team wants to win Premiership, so you don’t want to get away from this journey.”
