Road users to the north are recommended to follow the route below (no symbol):

Follow A133 from A12 in J27 (Spring Lane Junction) with A1232 (Ipswich Road) with Colchester at the intersection, take a trip to the north in A1232 and join A12 again in J29

It is recommended to follow the route below (no symbol):

A1232 at A1232 from A12 at J29 and the intersection of A1232 and go to the 2nd exit and continue A133 at A133 at A133 with St Andrew’s Ave and Cowraray Ave.
