Operation ‘Safe Campus Zone’ Executed Across Districts

Vijayawada: In all regions in Andhra Pradesh, the operation was successfully carried out in the Security Campus area, which has an anti -drug attempt.

Stating this, DGP Harish Gupta said that the operation was designed to eliminate illegal drug sales within 100 meters in terms of the instructions of the ‘non -tobacco -free educational institutions’ framework.

The operation was carried out for five days between 8-12 July covering all regions. Near educational institutions (including Ganga), NRX, cough syrup, cigarette, tobacco products and gutka sales tried to control the sales. Approximately 16,806 was under the browser and 25,807 cases were recorded in 26 regions. The highest number of cases was recorded in -3,468 -Visakhapatnam, then arrived in Kakinada 3.115 and 4,015 in Prakasam regions.

DGP, the operation of the intelligence leadership in the radius of 100 yard educational institutions involved in the targeting of hot points, he said. The region had coordination with police intelligence wing and private branch police. This also included legal compliance within the scope of compulsory videos and relevant actions.

“All registered cases are followed for strong follow -up and prosecution and intelligence examination. Surprise operations at the identified hot points will continue.”
