SC, ST and OBC departments of the vehicle owners, the government micro, small and medium -sized enterprises (MSME) vehicles purchased under the scheme of at least the SC/ST sub -funds to release the amount of subsidies to release the amount.
At a press conference in Vijayawada on Thursday, August 7, they claimed that the gross injustice they reached by the previous government, who did not release the subsidies from 2020 to 2024, was pushed to serious financial problems and could not pay their monthly installments and could not cover the drivers and cleaning fees. Many said that the family had to get credit against gold mortgage or their homes.
The owners of the contract buses, YSRCP government’s inverse tender policy hit them hard. They said that they were allocated the buses to Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), and that they were allocated to snow -free roads and that approximately 50,000 losses per bus were given every month because of a bad mileage. Moreover, he used the APSRTC drivers as drivers in a call, but he paid more than the owners and led to the driver’s scarcity for themselves.
As a result, when the buses could not work, they said they were subjected to losses and they had to pay a penalty for the operation that contributed only to the load. They said that many of them were no longer able to run their buses and that they were in a state of financial collapse, and at least they wanted a little relaxation if the waiting subsidies were released.
In the TDP leadership, they said that the government promised to release subsidies until May 15, but the commitment has not yet been fulfilled.
