London housing estate water leak fixed after resident lists it as ‘waterfall’ on Google Maps

After a resident was listed as “waterfall” in Google Maps, a water leak in the North London housing property was fixed.

Ilona Papaava was disappointed that no one has correctly the drip on the Gardens of 71-90 Lisnden on the property in Camden for “at least half a year”.

He saw that the water, which was thought to come from a moved tank, flowed into a “neighbor’s house” when he walked his dogs every day in Hampstead Heath.

The 29 -year -old lady Papaava quoted by Mailonline: “It dripped for at least half a year. Water was constantly dripping into a neighbor’s house.

“It didn’t affect me directly, but I saw my dogs every day in Hampstead Heath.

“He was coming from the roof, the water tank. He was carrying it and the water was coming from the roof.”

He often joked that leaking with her husband looks like a waterfall.

And one day because he was “bored”, Mrs Papaava decided to list it as “Lissenden Waterfall” in Google Maps – he made five -star investigations.

London added: “I was just bored and uncomfortable.

“My wife and I started to joke that it was a waterfall. In the end, the neighbors left the investigations and these google maps became a joke.”

A five -star review of “Waterfall” on Google maps read: “Just return from Iceland, and don’t believe it, none of the waterfalls hold a candle.

“There is something else about Urban Water in the streets of Lissenden. Really magical. Absolutely recommended.”

The joke attracted the attention of Camden Council and then confirmed and corrected the leak defined in the pipes.

Mrs. Papaava continued: “We all had laughing while writing the investigations, and I’m very happy that it was finally solved.

“But it took half a year, and it was probably not difficult to fix it in the first place.

“Some inhabitants had reached before, but nothing happened.

“You could hear it every time you passed. He dripped into the boxes, so if you take your boxes there, you get wet.”

Camden Council spokesman said: “We apologize to the residents for their issues.

“Now we have solved this problem and stopped the leak.”
