Rodri: Manchester City midfielder has had injury setback – Pep Guardiola

Manager Pep Guardiola says Manchester City midfielder Rodri has experienced injuries mishaps and is not likely to be “really suitable” until after the September international break.
The Spanish International spent most of the 2024-25 season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury last September.
2024 Ballon d’Or Winning, City’s last season against Bournemouth’a last Premier League match as a late background came to action.
The 29-year-old was part of Guardiola’s squad in the United States in the summer months when City was on the last 16 scenes of Al-Hilal.
Rodri came as a second half -substitute against the Saudi Arabia side, but it was out early over time with what was thought to have a groin problem.
“Rodri is healed, but Al-Hilal suffered a major injury in the last match against Al-Hilal.” He said.
He continued: “He received better education in the last few days. I hope it will be really suitable after the international break.”
