Eleven dead, 45 hurt after bus, truck collide in Brazil

Eleven people were killed and 45 people were injured after an accident between a bus and a truck in the province of Brazil’s central West Mato Grosso.
The wounded were sent to nearby hospitals, Toll Road operator Nova Rota Do Oeste and highway police said.
They added that 11 of the wounded in a critical situation, 26 of them were in moderate and eight only small injuries.
The first information, according to Nova Rota Do Oeste, shows that a truck with a truck carrying cotton seeds near the city of Lucas Do Rio Verde collided.
According to the Ministry of Transport, more than 10,000 people died in traffic accidents in Brazil in 2024.
