‘They Were Ready To Go Nuclear, We Solved It’: Trump Again Claims Credit For India-Pakistan Ceasefire | India News

New Delhi: On Thursday, US President Donald Trump received a loan once again to prevent a potential nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan, and expressed optimism that his approaching talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska could help lead to peace in Ukraine.

Speaking to journalists in the White House, Trump said, “If you look at Pakistan and India, the aircraft was withdrawn. Six or seven aircraft went down. They were ready to go, maybe nuclear. We solved it.”

India rejects third -party mediation

India constantly rejected any external mediation in the ceasefire with Pakistan. During a special session in the Sindoor Operation in Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that no foreign leaders invited India to stop the military operation in response to the 22 April terrorist attack in Kashmir, who demanded 26 lives.

Prime Minister, “We said that our action was not forced from the first day. No leader in the world did not want us to stop the Sindoor Operation.” He said.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar confirmed that no third -party mediation has played a role in reaching the ceasefire. He also stressed that the decision to pause military activities had nothing to do with any commercial negotiations by opposing the allegations made by President Trump.

Although India rejected any foreign participation, Trump claimed to have helped a “complete and urgent” ceasefire among two nuclear armed neighborhoods with the alleged debates that Washington has been facilitated by Washington.

Trump’s latest claims come on the eve of his meeting with President Putin in Alaska, which is planned to be made on Friday.

“I think President Putin will make peace, I think President Zelenskiy will make peace.” He said. “We will see they agree.”

However, he immediately alleviated the expectations of a solution from the summit.

“I think this will be a good meeting, but more important meetings will be the second meeting. President Putin, President Zelenskiy, myself and perhaps some European leaders will bring. Maybe not. I do not know.”
